Travel Japan 2019 Series | Seigantoji pagoda | Shingu castle ruins | Kumano Hayatama Shrine | Day 2
After visiting the world unesco Nachi Waterfall, i did a little climb and visited the Seigantoji Pagoda. Here there was supposed to be that iconic shot of the pagoda with the nachi waterfall in the background, however the rain and cold temperature created heavy mist covering the waterfall
I waited for a bit but lost hope as the mist did not clear. While waiting then i also realised that i lost my cap, but luckily a tourist found it and put it by a pavement.
So i went back down and headed to bus station. I ate a warm udon then took the bus to shingu.
In Shingu i was looking for the Shingu castle but to my dismay after climbing up the hill, i only found ruins. However the view from top of the ruins was so beautiful
Finally i headed to Kumano Hayatama Shrine, one of the 3 famous shrine in kumano area. Despite the rain, being wet and cold, today was a fruitful day. Look forward to my adventures on day 3
