I drove a couple of hours to a dark sky location on the Sea of Japan coast south of Shimamaki in South West Hokkaido. This unedited picture was taken using the stock camera app on an iPhone 15 Pro. i live in a fairly rural area anyway but the difference in the number of stars visible was striking. Definitely worth a long late drive to get there and back again. Saw some awesome Perseid meteors too.
