Japan’s Most Exciting Fireworks Festival – Yokohama 2024 – 4K HDR

Each year the downtown area of Minato Mirai, Yokohama has their largest fireworks festival of the year. The show boasts a showing of 20,000 firework shots, which is on the larger size for fireworks festivals in Japan. However the main thing that makes this festival the most exciting fireworks in Japan in my opinion is that those 20,000 shots are fired over the course of 25 glorious minutes in a single location high over the Yokohama waterfront. This allows for a steady stream of breathtaking fireworks as opposed to other popular festivals which shoot the same or less number of fireworks over the course of 90 minutes, and sometimes spread out between two semi-close locations. So at 800 shots per minute, the Minato Mirai smart fireworks festival takes the crown for my most enjoyable in Japan.
