Chochin at Yakitori Ichimatsu in Osaka. One of the best Chochin (lantern) I have had.

Chochin essentially is chicken ovary and fallopian tubes with egg yolk. Some chefs pair it with liver and thigh meat, and some don’t.

    Was the chicken taking FSH?! I’ve never seen more than two mature yolk at one time.

    I was so afraid to try chicken ovaries when my family and I asked the Yakitori chef to just make his recommendations, but it really just tasted like egg yolks and was so good lol
