I don’t know why, but sushi is not for me. It’s a big NO NO NO. (It’s not delicious as they say 😞😞😞)

Have you tried good sushi from a nice sushi restaurant. or only supermarket sushi? There’s a huge difference.

Try salmon nigiri. Plus nigiri is closer to actual sushi than rolls. If you like it try tuna. Though tuna has a more distinct taste.

It has just about no taste and is more about the flavor of the rice and texture.

It’s a better entry sushi than California.

    Do you like nigiri?

I prefer my sushi without any nori, personally.

Which part of sushi is problematic for you? Because you can take any part of it out, or get different kinds. I like sushi rolls but my partner doesn’t like seaweed so he eats sashimi or nigiri. If the fish is the issue maybe try an avocado or sweet potato roll

  5. Are you referring to the sushi that you have in the picture or sushi in general.

Otherwise this is the equivalent to me getting a white castle burger then declaring that all burgers are bad.

Inevitably, the answer to any question that begins with “am I the only one…?” is going to be ‘no’.

    >It’s not delicious as they say

Ok, cool? And plenty of people do not say? There’s nothing wrong with not liking something, but then … just don’t eat it? Give it to a friend? Your loss, their gain.

There must be another one. However, r/JapaneseFood does not give a good odds to find that person. Try r/AskReddit or r/Rant or something like that?

Different people’s like different things, I find Mexican food difficult as coriander tastes like soap, and I rather despise avacado.

  9. No? But most people aren’t attention-seekers about it like you lol

I’m with you on this one. It’s the mix of textures that gets me, plus I can’t get myself to eat raw fish.
