I came home from Tokyo last week and your photos brought me back.
What part of Tokyo were you shooting in?

I’ve never been to Tokyo or even Japan but something that stands out to me from pictures of this city are how the various streets, despite the absolute huge vastness of the city, look so “local”, like despite the fact that you may be miles from the border of the urban area, it still looks like there’s an almost quaint feeling of neighborhood and I think the lack of high rise buildings and the non-grid based structure of these residential areas seems to be a big part of that. I wonder how it feels in person.
