all right let’s get dressed let’s head to [Music] breakfast how gorgeous are the views from the club Lounge for Brey this morning it’s just so amazing hi and welcome back we’re an Aussie family of four I’m Lily and this is my mom Cara dad Alex and my sister Paris join us on the journey okay so what we’re going to do is just go have a look around Shinjuku got a bit of a list that we want to tick off so Alex’s bag is going to come in on tonight’s Tokyo flight from K need to tell the yes on the way out we’ll tell them so his bag should maybe get here about 10:30 tonight if all goes well unless they forget pack it once again otherwise we wear clothes for 3 Days yeah least your favorite color is blue so if you see him in the same clothes every day that’s why he still hasn’t got his bag Kickstart today’s adventure wo Google Maps is telling us that we need a head left um I love that this is just a walking street so you can just walk down the middle of it but there’s also cars but I guess they have to be careful careful as they walk through as they drive through so cuz there’s so many people walking streets are fairly clean aren’t they like no no real rubbish look at all these vending machines look water look there’s heaps all in a row and then lockers coin lockers what do you put in the Lo like to right we’re turning right here is this a road did you say right here right here and we go across the train lines I believe looks like we go under the train lines to get over to the Shinju main Crossing with some big 3D cats we’re trying to find my my head’s going to like nearly touch the roof I’m a tall person but not that tall there people taller than me so we’re trying to find some big 3D cat billboard it looks really realistic so this is the Shinju big like cat’s billboard corner where they have the Billboards that like 3D they stand out so a lot of people come to have a look at Giant Billboards I can’t imagine the cost [Music] Iran’s trying to capture the um the billboard but it doesn’t pick up on the cameras very well look look oh he’s got one up there and one over here he’s poking his head through connect oh that’s so funny so now we are heading towards the Disney flagship store um it’s a 200 me walk from the big cat’s billboard pigeons are flying everywhere we have a little toy little looks like a Cookie Monster all right where’s the GPS telling us to go oh no this way keep going this way Donald Duck’s 90th birthday we’re at the Disney Store in [Music] Shinjuku oh it’s nice and cool in here so we are in the Tokyo Disney flagship store we’ve got a little table here is coming soon so it must be a little l King range look how cute look sample so it would be $22 when it comes out you’ve got scarim little Simba scar it actually looks really nice to feel good quality as well wow are they little face cloths yeah little Al that one’s going to be about7 Australian dollar so the little face washes in there $7 look this the carpet you know from know Aladin must be hand $7 it looks like some variation of The Lion King let’s have a look uni Bear City doesn’t really have a name on it but it is 46 Australian dollar all right we are walking down to the Marvel section I think there is three levels to this Disney Store looks like we’ve got some Iron Man limited release Edition or limited release pins look at these awesome bags mom has one of these it’s $429 for this one $462 for these ones look at this cute little mini purse 374 oh look it’s the Rescue Rangers a that’s so cute 396 for this one let’s head up to level two and check out the fashion we could wear these for run Disney little Chip and Dale hats that would be so cute I just can’t read it 48 Australian dollars no English let’s unzip it and have a look is it like a blanket or something I don’t know Paris just found these cute little chip cups I think they’re actually plastic that is so cute $9 $8 $8 I’m going to get these little Beauties these are going to be my first purchase in Japan $550 Australian for cute little socks I don’t know if they’re going to fit I have a large Australian foot but if they don’t reift I might also purchase this wand for uh navigating my way around the house when it’s dark at night time it just will guide me through the darkness see ly coming down the hallway glowing one be like I could turn the lights on but I got my wand so it’s okay High F Donald High F yeah what we’re going to do now is find mossberger and go get something to eat and drink cuz it’s quite hot out here yeah it’s about 33 today 33 little bit humid um so yeah we just go find a drink I think that’s right refresh so we need to go over in over it’s like like a diagonal I don’t know why the GPS would say that I think we just have to go down that little side street but it’s saying go that way that way that way that way that’s weird let’s just cross and see what happens how do you think we’re going with our navigating yeah good I think it’s going quite smooth look how wide The Crossing is this Crossing is really wide and this is the first like intersection where I’ve seen rubbish right I think we need to go down here all right so we just did our Moss Burger order we’ve got one melon soda for Mom one orange juice for Dad Paris and I got the Moss vanilla shake um and we got the four burgers and four fries the total was 4,610 Yen which equals $461 approximately in Australian dollars I think got the around let’s try these Burgers cuz they are meant to be the special burger for Japan okay what have we got here so that’s the medium fries that we’re looking at here this here was the cheeseburger looks fresh M that’s look good I’m just going to have to pick the Tomato out of mine this one here is the plant-based Burger so you got some lettuce tomato a veggie patty lettuce and the green green bun thoughts on the vegetarian plant-based Moss Burger very fresh i’ would have it again all right let’s try the the mossberger cheeseburger M I actually really like that the barbecue sauce in it and is there a bit of mayo that’s really tasty so we just finished our meal at mossberger really delicious really enjoyed it they had single spots where people could um eat if they were by themselves or there was tables you could share uh wide range of items on the menu tasted good I’d come back again wow look at this looks like little gumball machines there’s a whole wall of them yeah looks like you could go and select different little toys [Music] keychains Disney 100 keychains yeah so like $3 $4 Australian this one looks like oh spices yeah we got some like chili garlic flakes this one’s a little bottle oh little or maybe it’s a key ring of a juice or something there you go you can come into one of these little photo booths and get a professional head shot done maybe for your your resume or your passport maybe driver’s license very nice we’re standing out the front of jigo gigo it looks very appealing it looks like a game center look you could win a little kiwi fruit it’s a Ki a kiwi key ring on the and look and you play the game to win the items and we’ve got um many many games to choose from let’s walk around and see if we can find something that we might want to win cuz this is going to be a little bit too hard to bring home what else do we have here that we might want to win lot of toys I’m looking to win an iPhone what do we got down here oh these are our big prizes Big Winnie the Pooh big carrot big piggy thing big horse big Care Bear Paris is going to try and win a kiwi fruit she’s put in her 100 yen little handle it looks so realistic oh here we go here weed it right we we’re putting in another 100 yen perhaps we have practice run perhaps we have to hold down the button the entire time until it gets no it just drops it all right we’ve just put in another 100 yen we’re going to try and get the kiwi fruit cuz it’s nice and close now nice and close oh n cheaters this machine is dodgy we’re trying one of these little thingies now we got to be strategic it has to be close that when it opens it’s already close enough but it needs to be one that we can actually select like that would be a good one to pick up but it could be too far away from the hole that little one could also be good but it’s also too far away from the hole I think I’m going to try yeah in the Middle with the white and black dressing on it let’s go is that good oh that one oh is this that one maybe I don’t think so let’s try rip off we are not spending any more money on this good at this all right we’ve made it back to the KY I’m not sure if I’m saying it right right could be KO I think it might be KO Plaza Hotel I could ask is it K or KO they said KO on the bus last night it’s a beautiful hotel beautiful we have just been confirmed it is KO Paris is going on a journey up the elevators for a fun ride hi parents Lily’s going to try and order some ice to be brought up to the room I’ve just tried pressing room service and that didn’t work so we pressed nine hello this is AER speaking how may I assist you hello I’m just hoping to get some ice the ice yes that would be wonderful okay so we will bring to room thank you very much bye bye okay so room service has just bought up some ice we can use this for cooling off our feet uh in the bathtub thanks to the courtesy of ko Plaza hotel Tokyo they’ve provided us some lovely ice just put in there from no to pull off our feet and ankles after that long flight refresh the tootsies Okay so we’ve come into the club Lounge this evening dad’s found a little selection of cookies Dad’s getting some dried Peach one little peachy dried Peach cheese cookie Japanese rock candy I’m going to try the Japanese rock candy try like oh oh I literally like little rocks May C that was interesting thoughts on the dried Peete look at my little plate of goodies now let’s uh have a look at this lemon cheesecake strawberry ni strawberry the actual strawberry itself now I’m going to try this thing I’m really open to trying new things it’s very sticky because as i p jellyish as I pull it it’s like stuck to the um plate like it like peels off I hope it’s not Cherry I don’t like Cherry looks like that’s Chell it’s like flour this like so inside the middle it’s like a flowery chalky kind of texture and then the outside is just like a really sticky like gelatin ball I’m not sure what this is but the actual like texture of the inside and the like rubberiness of the outside makes me not want to consume anymore now these little rocks are called Japanese rock candy there was pink and green ones let’s give it a go what’s very hard to you wouldn’t oh you can crunch it does it dissolve quickly M yes what does it taste like there’s no taste there’s really no taste Japanese rock candy so we’re trying to head to the sky Plaza we go to these special set of elevators to get up to the 47th floor so we’re going to head up and check out the sky Plaza IAS show it’s a beautiful lounge with lots of different themed areas let’s go check it out [Music] all right there’s also this floor area where you can sit down on some bean bags and look out at the beautiful Skyline Paris is really enjoying the alternative seating of on the floor okay this area you’re not allowed to wear shoes you have to take your shoes off and you put them in the shoe rack and they just got lots of hammocks chairs just a relaxing area dad’s really getting himself comfortable I sit on this little sto look they’ve even got a little like fire pit Style in another section they’ve got a nice little kids play area made of foam and another sitting area so now we’ve come into the library section of the lounge it’s got a varied seating option and again beautiful big Windows where you can just see a full view of the entire city and there’s a few books over there there are not many not many books the library but you could bring your computers in here and read you could probably choose a book to read I’m sure they’d have one in English so this building behind us is going to turn into a big light show I think he gave some times on the brochure I need to have a look I think it was like six seven and N or something and this beautiful light display something’s gonna happen out there in this space there’s a little fire pit where you can enjoy a little fire how cute is this all right after our nice little afternoon tea up at the lounge we’re going to go get changed into our Fitness Gear and go do some Fitness down at the local park all right magically we’ve ended up on level seven which is your fitness center now when I said that we were getting changed to go do some Fitness I didn’t mean the fitness center but we actually while we’re here should have a little check we got some treadmills water station um outdoor swimming pool was closed for the season our pool will again open July 2024 we missed out on by 15 days well there you go so what an awesome morning here in Tokyo we’re going to cut it here and do a second episode on the night because I reckon this episode has been long enough so until next time we’ll catch on the roundabout [Music] hey [Music]
