🍜🇯🇵 The kids wanted instant noodles… so we went to the Cup Noodle Museum in Osaka, Japan!

🤫 (One ingredient really surprised us!)

While the museum has free entry, it’s worth it to pay the extra yen to make your own Cup Noodle… complete with your choice of ingredients (¥500 per Cup Noodle when we visited in 2023).

The iconic CUPNOODLES also has a fascinating story. In Osaka, that story comes to life with immersive, wander-through exhibits, an animated film, and above all, your opportunity to make your very own Cup Noodle:

we are the Learners and makers and today we are going to the cup noodle Museum in Osaka Japan first you can see the tunnel of instant Ramen there are so many different types during our first visit to Japan in 2013 one of the places we were most excited to go was the cup noodle Museum and Yokohama this time around we get to go to companion in Osaka and just seeing the wall of cup noodles it’s so delicious as you walk through the museum you’ll learn all about how ramen is made and history of instant Ramen here are a few fun facts instant Ramen was invented to try to help with hunger and the lack of food after World War II muko Ando the inventor of cup noodles realized that he could fry the noodles in hot oil then the moisture would leave the noodles and they could be stored safely for a long time without Refrigeration Mr Ando had to come up with an inventive way to fill the cup with ingredients instead of putting the noodles in the cup the cup goes over the noodles upside down that ensured the noodles would fit properly after we had learned all about instant noodles we got to make our own custom cup noodles we are at cup noodle Museum and we’re making our fancy custom cup noodles Conor Connor show what you made here a mine crafting but there’s a wait what’s this a noodle guy noodle Steve noodle Steve he’s pork and trimp pickax ah a pork Pig and soon there shall be a shrimp cow once my sister is Brown a shrimp cow AER is making hers oh and Conor colored in colored it all in you want to show what you’ve got so far show me what you got I’m busy oh she’s busy you want to show what you’ve got so far yeah let’s see so I’m just kind of doing some preform stuff preform coloring in some my letters and just doing various little designs that come to mind maybe evoking little bits of shrimp or dried onion or such there you go not only that but we get to custom make our inside so we’re deciding what it is that we want on the inside of our cup noodles we got a cup from a vending machine decorated our cup noodles watched as the noodles were put in the cup chose those are flavors and extra ingredients you could choose things like corn peas shrimp fish cakes or cheese once our noodles were sealed in their package we put them into their protective airbags for safe [Music] travel dinner time after the cup noodle Museum and we are having the cup noodles that we made M so what are they Bab best these are the best cup noodles when you get to choose all the things that go inside it’s really good cup noodle ad cup noodle ad cracra cup noodle would you go to the cup noodle Museum what flavor noodles would you choose [Music] [Music]
