It’s our Day 1 in Kyoto, Japan and it’s temple day! Come and join me to visit the popular tourist spots in the area. Our itinerary starts in Kleage Incline to watch the cherry blossoms. Nishiki Market buzzed with energy, offering a tantalizing array of local delicacies and unique souvenirs. Fushimi Inari Taisha, with its iconic torii gates, provided a breathtaking and meditative hike, making it a highlight of the trip. At Yasaka Shrine, the beautiful gardens and vibrant atmosphere of traditional festivals immersed us in the local culture. Nanzen-ji Temple offered a serene escape, with its stunning rock gardens and impressive architecture, allowing for peaceful reflection. Each site added a unique layer to the tapestry of Kyoto’s charm, making the visit truly remarkable.
