For this journey to art video, I’m visiting one of the oldest train stations in Southern Japan. Osumi Yokogawa (大隅横川駅). Along with Kareigawa Station, it was opened in 1903. Osumi Yokogawa Station has a lot of historical and cultural significance related to it. The building has many wood accents that makes it quite charming. My hope is to find inspirational sceneries and scenario for the sake of painting a picture and improving my art.
The train line to Osumi Yokogawa is a wonderful trip where you can see some great countryside Japan sceneries. If you’re tired of the tourist crowds, this is a relaxing train where sometimes no one is on board.
