hi there do you live in Tokyo or maybe you’re just here for a while do you ever feel like you need a break from the city hustle and bustle trust me I get it I feel that way too sometimes so today we’re leaving the skyscrapers behind and heading out to an amazing weekend getaway so get ready for some fresh air standing views and whole lots of fun in this video we’re uncovering the secrets of a magical spot just outside Tokyo we will explore hidden gems cynic spots and show you why this place is perfect for your next mini [Music] vacation trust me you don’t want to miss this adventure first things first we’re hopping in the car and heading to one of the five stunning laks surrounding Mount Fuji and no it’s not the famous Lake kucho you might expect I promise you Hidden Gem didn’t die so let’s go explore and uncover this beautiful place [Music] together yes guys we are at yamanakako lake it might not be famous as some of the other Lakes but trust me it has so much to offer but before we dive into all the adventures let’s find ourselves a cozy place to [Music] stay okay guys we have just arrived to our hotel it took us about 1 and 1 half hours to get here from Tokyo which is quite fast actually so it is time to check in oh my God it smells so good here here [Music] [Music] okay guys we have just checked into our hotel and it is lunchtime right now so we have found a really nice place not so far from our hotel this place uh seems to be famous for its stew and they also have a sausage uh manufactury look at this place it looks so nice okay guys take a look it is so nice okay so this is the famous position beef St and they also serve sausages which are made in this place they have their own Factory oh guys take a look this is grape juice oh oh my God it is so good oh guys take a look we also got these it is because we order it as said actually not just two that’s why I also got this uh little sausage some LEM and also this tiny salad let’s check it out the sausage it smells so good oh my God I mean they probably make this sausage here actually at this Factory they have M on it’s really good it’s beef tongue M oh my God it’s so gentle it’s just super soft you know it kind of melts in your mouth everything is perfect especially these juo oh my God guys the main has arrived I got the uh beef stew and he got a beef Tong stew oh my God guys just look at this just Heaven okay let’s check it out oh my God guys the sauce is so good and the beef is just so soft I don’t actually need a knife because you know I can just you know eat it with a fork it is just so soft I think I’ve never tried such a good stew in my life and I mean it okay guys now I’m going to try the tongue it’s actually can’s dish but he gave me a little piss so just melts in your mouth [Music] literally guys I want to take some time and tell you a little bit about this place where we stay this time because I really love it [Music] so guys this hotel is located right next to yamanakako Lake which is one of five lakes around Mount Fuji so this hotel is called ran which is a Japanese style hotel with an onsan on the spot these hotels are really really popular in Japan and they are usually quite pricey but this hotel is different because it is priced really reasonably considering everything you get for your money you know guys I actually really like this design it is very retro Japanese here’s the entrance I’m going to show you what is on the first floor so on the first floor there is this lobby area which is really bright and nice here they have the vending machine selling uh Japanese beer okay guys so here we have two Japanese Onan rooms this is the first one and the second one uh basically you can use them privately uh here is the schedule so you basically write uh your room number uh next to the time you want to go and uh yeah you can use it [Music] really bright and nice this is the huge bed and there is also a desk here with a chair and uh some Essentials like Kettler there’s even coffee machine here also some sugar tea uh Chopsticks raise a fridge as well and we have this nice [Music] view okay guys so it is time to go to onent okay so this is the entrance you can leave your slippers here and um here’s the sink they also have some uh skin care products here hand soap uh all kind of stuff you might need ha dryer when you’re ready here is where you go basically so here you’re supposed to wash your but body before entering uh the bath but guys just look at this isn’t that amazing a bath with a [Music] view only for [Music] us okay guys so we’re done with our morning Onan session it was really really good especially considering it is quite cold here compared to Tokyo so you know just the perfect thing you can do in the morning so our plan for today is to First go have breakfast in a really nice cafe not so far from our place but which is quite famous still and after that I think we’re going to explore the lake and the neighborhood there is also a small par paring area here so yeah guys if you want to come to yamanakako Lake I definitely recommend coming by car because otherwise I think it would be quite difficult to move around because there are a lot of places you can visit here but they’re all quite far from each other and I don’t really see much of public transportation here so yeah definitely bringing a car would be a great idea [Music] okay guys so we just arrived to the place where we’re going to grab our morning coffee it is called yamanaka Terrace it took us about 10 minutes by car from our place uh they promised panoramic views of the lake so let’s check it out [Music] hot hotot [Music] okay guys so it seems like we’re the first ciments today because this place just opened at 900 [Music] a.m. you guess this is our order this is just flat white on regular milk and this is something quite interesting this is called uh coffee cherry tea so I guess it’s a mix of coffee and tea it does really have this tiny really gentle soft uh Cherry taste M I’m just trying can just flat white which really nice I think it’s actually the same taste as like what I drank in New Zealand really [Music] [Music] good guys we just had a really interesting convers ation with the owner of this place he is a nice Japanese guy who was inspired by New Zealand Coffee Culture and decided to open his own place here in Japan and guys I must say that the quality of the coffee and uh the tea that I had just so good I didn’t really notice any difference with his coffee and the coffee that I had in New Zealand so much much much recommended guys so what do you think do you like this coffee like I like coffee I know you do I like tea this tea is really good he also told us a little bit about his current project as you can see there is the construction going on and um he told us that he’s trying to build a space to hold some summer events here how cool is that I think it’s great I really want to come here once the construction is done and check it [Music] out okay guys so we have just arrived to another place to have lunch this place is super popular it is now 10:30 a.m. and this place opens at 11:00 a.m. and there is already a huge [Music] line so guys we managed to take the best seat in this place and we also ordered their signature position with which is uh an apple pie and I also ordered the Cherry Pie yeah just to compare I’m so excited oh my God guys it looks so good I can’t wait to try it take a look at this boy it is actually a hot version [Music] it’s not too sweet I don’t think they add any sugar in here so it’s just like natural sweetness of cherry perfect my God guys it’s just perfect you know there are not so many places in Japan where I can get dark cherry pie so it’s just super much [Music] recommended can I try can you give me some [Music] M the sweetness of the apple is just wow guys I think I can understand why this place is so popular the pie is just fire and I mean the vibe of this place is just crazy I mean just such a nice place if you’re are here in this area 100% you should come here uh okay guys so we’re now at yamanakako Lake which is also known as Swan Lake because well obviously you can see a lot of swans here you can also find a lot of boat rental shops here right next to the lake where you can rent a swan boat which is quite famous [Music] [Applause] here you can also buy some food for ducks and uh fish uh which are waiting for this food here is just 100 yen so it’s basically nothing but you know ducks are going to be happy so this what we’re going to do we’re going to ride these Swan Boats it is a popular attraction here at this Lake okay we’re going [Music] guys okay guys we are inside the boat uh it’s basically like a bicycle as you can see so you’re just using the pedals and you’re moving well I guess you know how this works I don’t know why to explain that oh my God this fish is following us I think he’s expecting to get some food hello okay guys apparently you’re supposed to buy Spa food and take it with you on the boat so this ones would come to the boat so this is our mess we didn’t do that we actually bought the food but we gave it all to the dogs next to the shore so well I guess another [Music] time oh my God got take a look what we found oh my God this one mother with little babies oh my God okay guys Kento brought some Swan food cannot actually enter here but he is entering to give this one some [Music] food so I have some food hello guys oh nice you’re going to eat it you want to try like ah you’re oh my God they are monsters guys [Music] this lake is also a great spot to see Mount Fuji on a sunny day of course Unfortunately today is cloudy and Mount Fuji is covered with the clouds so you can’t really see anything but yeah depending on the weather it can be the best spot to see Mount Fuji but guys it seems like tomorrow is going to be a sunny day so let’s hope we’re able to see the beautiful Mount Fuji not covered with the clouds and we sure did [Music] guys we’re now in yamanashi prefecture did you know that Yaman n has its own traditional dish I didn’t know before but it seems to be quite a big deal here so we’re going to check it [Music] out the dish is called hotel it is basically a Japanese style udon noodles cooked with vegetables and miso soup sounds quite tasty to [Music] me okay guys take a look everything here is photo all different types of photo and I think I’m going to go with this uh one with oysters this place also serves pashi or horse meat Sashimi which we decided to order and share I’m not sure if you can try raw horse meat anywhere else in the world so make sure to give it a try when you come to Japan it is super delicious meanwhile the mains have arrived I ordered the oyster version of hoto and K ordered the one with dark meat hoto is perfect for warming up on Chili days and it is definitely a must try if you visit yamanashi prefecture so it is my top recommendation [Music] so guys this is our last morning in yamanakako Lake and uh we’re lining up for breakfast actually in this place called the park which is apparently super popular right now it is like what 10:30 and uh this place opens at 10:00 a.m. and when we arrived it was already packed so I don’t know how much time we’re going to wait but let’s see if it’s worth the waiting [Music] finally guys it’s been like 15 minutes thank [Music] you so guys this place is specialized in pancakes as you can see see they are different types here and they also serve hamburgers and here is the drink menu they have coffee obviously they have all kind of juice tea uh options they even have beer so guys take a look we ordered grape fresh juice because it’s Yaman perfecture and take a look wow there’s also this I don’t know a piece of grape ice [Music] inside guys take a look this is our order this is the Burger set oh yes so this is the Burger something like hash brown and some veggies let’s go with the veggies first pickle really good there’s this Hesh Brown kind of thing M good okay let’s check out the main the burger M it’s actually quite interesting because the uh bun uh it’s actually made from rice flour so it tastes a little bit different it’s quite interesting so guys we ordered Japanese style pancakes this time take a look they are fluffy type on top of Pancakes there
