it’s a bread machine I’m trying the Mochi the kimono Forest the most beautiful spot here in my wife would love to have a carpet of moss like this that is the dong you heard look at that though and this is D blood soup it’s vening machine time they were right to block that off I want to go down there this little section is what made me want to come here look [Music] at welcome to Kyoto Day 2 welcome back to all good on the road today we are going to try to do arish arama arama bamboo forest we are going to see a couple of temples up there Goji Temple and coji mhm and I have got some snacks here for breakfast I’ve been wanting to try the hotel has a free buffet and I’ll have to try it tomorrow but I bought thesee because we have coupons oh yes it’s free because we have status but I want to try these now these are called Dongo Dongo and I’ve never tried them I always see people eating them they don’t look tasty to me but we’re going to find out let’s try the pink one not bad I can eat that it’s okay it almost doesn’t taste like food in some ways kind of like it actually it’s growing on me quickly I like its consistency it’s sweet but it’s not too sweet mhm um it kind of just tastes sweet there’s not really a specific uh taste I would say a sweet dough ball mhm well it’s red flour I like it now I’m trying this Onie giri I’ve been watching people eat these things for months this is very good salmon in the Middle look like a canned salmon though said this is a very good chicken patty a little seasoning in it good meat very tasty the Oni we got another snack this is sort of an Impulse spot but we wanted some chips last night and we did not eat them but let’s see what they’re like okay I opened this bag and I said that’s just a basic lace but it’s not it’s not at all I’m not sure what this flavor is it’s really good though and it’s a kettle cook chip I believe very nice I have to translate a few things here there’s a fresh Rose in the two fresh roses in the elevator look at this njo Castle that’s gorgeous I have have to get a new vending machine something today and there are a lot of choices in here oh milk tea I love milk tea I might have to get one of those wonder what that is I think it’s the same thing you got yesterday it was good too and good prices in this one we start our journey today here at nju station lots of steps and a long walk to this station and then more steps and that long tunnel okay we have added to our IC card this morning and we’re here to catch the train we want to go to the end of the toai station okay I’m going to try the parari sweat parari sweat ready oh it’s cesy oh not that tastes fine have L of drinks that tastes good okay so parari sweat is just Gatorade and I love it very good I said what was this it says love it’s a bread machine and pizza sandwiches o that’s a new one I haven’t seen yet chill out some more Georgia Coffee oh these are on there too and an ice cream machine the ice cream in my belly okay now we’re out of that station and we’re headed over to Ramden ungawa now we’re catching an above ground train to arashiyama that’s not our train we’re going the other direction [Music] ni the station before the line gets crazy I want to dress some this is arish station Arash I’m trying the Mochi aged Mochi and and green tea ice cream green tea ice cream green tea ice cream I don’t think I’m going to like it but let’s see oh that’s delicious I don’t know that I could tell you it was green tea was delicious ice cream I could okay I’ve had Mochi before and I’ve never liked it so let’s test it okay I’ve only had Mochi made by Americans before and I never cared for it this is amazing the kimono Forest deep fried fish cake with main onion place is a bit of a zoo but every place here is okay leaving arashiyama station and headed north look at all that the beginning of the bamboo for do not enter this is beautiful can around here this is absolutely gorgeous look at the temperature change in here so much [Music] cooler Americans on the wrong side of the street this is beautiful that’s a good spot a cemetery here on the edge of the bamboo forest very beautiful see I want to get up in those Hills up there and see what’s going on I want to see Japanese woods now on this way tin Ru G Tempo 500 yen a person to get into this temp but we’ve got a couple other temples on our mind today up pill again but this is gorgeous look at this and the farther we go the less people we are seeing oh it’s still a lot of people drop your phone beautiful garden up there I’m sure but we can’t see everything today so it’s on to joa coji Temple I’m just loving the shade and the cool temps so it’s about 72 out here nice breeze you see uh scenic train wow the bamboo down there that they’re using just as a silk barrier is bigger around than my thigh and most of y’all don’t know that’s pretty big so the scenic train will allow you to get off at this station down here cost is eight it cost 800 Yen from the last stop look at that manmade pond it’s gorgeous beautiful little Temple here oh that man went up that hill just a beautiful place to spend a day look at this look at this Pond over here I don’t see any fish in it though I don’t know oh there’s fish look at the size of that tadpole Aon do you see my daughter said this is a little Lotus Farm it’s beautiful oh I hate those things bird those things on the the lotus plant with the holes in them that’s why we’re in the worst season for they’re all dried up oh there’s another tadpole it’s not as big as the last one there I recorded the dong can I put a dong on YouTube I think I can we are now at jooi Temple let’s go check it out I love that [Music] sound this is beautiful jooji Temple when you walk in I went left when I walk in the door we going to go up here can we oh that doesn’t does that connect yes it connects oh my well this is beautiful we have found the most beautiful spot here in jooi temp nobody around beautiful little don’t want to see all the drainage ditches I find them cool this might be the spot to buy Mom one oh there’s little fish in there oh yeah little minnows in there oh my God 300 Yen for an umbrella we found the cutest little restaurant right kind of in the middle of a back road this is gorgeous check out this value me that’s nice whack you hurg oh my gosh Asian I’m going to get that right there and you’re getting the pork tum mhm I feel like we found a true little hidden gym here we see how the food is of course but this is wonderful first place we’ve had to take our shoes off also I got Beijing and these are pancakes and this is DP blood [Music] soup this little restaurant was wonderful Nissan Nissan it’s v a machine time which one you going to get you get milk tea all right that looks really good I think I’m going to draw coffee b l Rich milky tea and just to try something different I got a craft boss I think that milky tea is going to be tastier okay this was tastier this is good this is not bad it’s kind of growing on me but it’s not as sweet almost to Goji Temple there’s been several little restaurants we’ve passed oh this is like a curry restaurant too oh yes Curry would have been good too but I’m happy with on the way up to Goji till to get us some berries berries they were right to block that off I want to go down [Music] there oh go to the other side let’s see oh you can park here beautiful is that h the mountain go your temple entrance no pets allowed okay that’s really look at this little walkway these are so beautiful this just a beautiful little area you have to explain these to me more the little shrines yeah this little section is what made me want to come here look at this moss covered area this is just so gorgeous imag on this I [Applause] know this is as nice as the Bamboo Forest Area this it’s gorgeous and less people yes and less people unless we just caught it on a wonderful day oh what is that it says please feel free to enter the room dark I hav that many bugs here this mat is just wonderful Don’t Go Near or take pictures of the monkey don’t that was GOI Temple not as nice as JoJo Koji but very yeah just small but definitely worth the spot that Moss was so gorgeous I don’t know what all this is though this is something different someone’s house wow if this is someone’s house I think it is private property whatever it is it could be like a temple or only for guests oh does that say what it is oh yeah don don G Temple back into the bamboo forest look at all this I know it’s insane the bamboo forest reality it is beautiful though take the perfect day to be here yeah so did everybody else mhm but the temple was so wonderful all these tourist coming through here I think the tour everybody trying to get that shot did earlier like a jungle up in there I love that very nice this is 2:45 in the afternoon it was much less crowded at 10 although as you could see want to go look at them want them to be bigger over there trimming the trees how cool is that so now we passed the train station right there and we’re headed down to the river see the bridge there oh yeah that’s it s powder what is it cucumber cucumber yeah oh that’s precious oh there’s your meat stick Fried Chicken there’s a lot of food down here though wow I’m not at all hungry we’ve eaten enough today yeah that little restant just thousands of people crossing on the don’t walk people crossing on the don’t walk look at that look at all the people out on it look at that beautiful River I love the bypass that going on here oh they built a Spillway here the boat over there listen you want to rent a boat look at that mountain that’s what I want to do I want to go a few hundred ft up the mount to see what real Japanese Forest looks like that’s what uh the a lot of stuff there’s a lot of people do you want to go over there no I want to go down is where the comes out I got to get down there I think I ruined some poor dude’s live stream see that 360 camera over there or his thing look at this tree yo I don’t know that that comes across on camera properly that is some kind of beautiful tree you build a house in there we are done in the arashiyama area and all the temps and we’re the romen line to head back to the hotel area back at our hotel near njo Castle resed for people with special off the train at ronden Ting office what’s the name of this place Roden igawa ronden igawa station and heading over there to our toine here we go deep into the bows of the earth oh this a is an escalator I like the escalators cuz my tootsies is over almost tore up okay so which one Aaron this one is it right there there we go n my station njo my [Music] station hello sorry down down oh you are so cute hello this is a beauti little area they made out of a drainage ditch and of course they can get 8ft water rise and not have a problem back to Crown Plaza Kyoto I don’t think we’re done for the day though but we need a freshen up we are washing our clothes we did not bring enough to make the whole week okay laundry washed back to the hotel and over to dinner check this out sanjo this place is more local there’s a temple in this little sanjo market look at this this is wonderful wow that’s cool loving this this has got much more of a local feel here’s another laundry we could have brought it here and just walk around healthy healthy Beauty late night out here in sanjo Market this place is shutting down hi on the Hun for some sushi need a pizza Aaron got a margarita pizza I have had a haul from the 7-Eleven because several places I went to were already closed I got some chicken some H giri some softboiled eggs some cookies well that is it for today we have done 23,000 steps today and I’m feeling it picked up a couple of souvenirs while we were down by ar ar arama arama looking forward to taking those home and trying them out okay tomorrow is Studio gibli Park and the bullet train to ngoya join us [Music] [Music] go
