鶏料理を基本とする和食のお店『鳥光』さんの尼崎支店に行って来ました。鳥光さんは神戸の須磨区に本店があり、明治25年創業の老舗です。ランチは焼鳥定食を提供しており、人気の「手羽定食」(1,300円)をいただいてきました。創業当時から継ぎ足しているというタレで焼く鶏は美味しかったです。

Hello. Today I am in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, which is close to Osaka. The restaurant we will visit this time is located a short walk north of Amagasaki Station on the Hanshin Railway. This is it. Torimitsu is a Japanese restaurant that mainly serves chicken dishes.

This restaurant was founded in 1892, and its main branch is located in Suma Ward, Kobe City, and this is its Amagasaki branch. The restaurant is large and has 120 seats. It’s relaxing and comfortable. Here is the food menu. There are many yakitori dishes. This is a chicken dish other than yakitori.

There were also fried chicken dishes. And this is the lunch set menu. There aren’t many restaurants in western Japan that offer yakitori set meals like this, so I’m personally happy about this restaurant. On this day, I ordered the most popular lunch set meal, the Chicken Wing Set Meal (1,300 yen).

Many other customers also ordered this. So let’s start with beer. After a while, the most popular set meal of chicken wings was served. The yakitori grilled on skewers consisted of minced chicken balls, chicken liver, and chicken thighs. And a big cut chicken wing with a strong presence.

All of the yakitori was thoroughly grilled to the center. This restaurant uses charcoal for grilling, so the aroma of charcoal is fragrant and delicious. Yakitori sauce has been used ever since the company was founded. This sauce has a deep flavor, but a clear aftertaste.

It’s also great to eat this sauce with the cabbage garnish. Were the chicken wings pounded? It’s very soft. When I ate it, the special sauce and chicken went perfectly together. I can understand why this is a popular dish.

This restaurant has a long-established taste that even today’s up-and-coming yakitori restaurants that are listed in Michelin can’t offer. Another good thing is that it is easy to use. Thank you for the meal!
