So I was researching places I wanted to visit and check out and came across Yummy Chinese BBQ. I don’t think I have ever been to an all you can eat skewers place before, so when you looked on the online menu and saw the plethora of the plethora of items that were available i thought – yes! that looks pretty cool, why not give it a go.

This place is an All You Can Eat restaurant and comes at $50 AUD per person. You can 2 hours to eat as many skewers as your heart desires. Also, they are also offering Buy 3 Get 1 Free between Monday and Thursday, so if you have 3 other friends you can get this for $37.50 AUD per person.

Spoiler Alert: I dont think I will come back again but I’ll let you watch the video to see why that’s the case.

During the week i also went to my friend’s house who hosted a Korean BBQ at her place! We bought meats from Osawa Enterprises, watch my original video here: https://youtu.be/cI1NfINSTmQ and as always it was delicious.

if you’re still reading this, happy holidays!!! how crazy is it that there’s less than 2 weeks before we hit 2022?!?!?!

  1. Squid and calamari are the same thing. The Italians gave that name because nobody would eat squid back in the day. It was basically only used for bait. So the Italy decided to call it calamari

  2. Wow, it sounds like one of the most “ma ma dei” places you’ve reviewed 😅 thanks for your honesty. Wishing you and your family a happy and safe festive season from Eddy and me. Thanks for all the great videos, they’ve really helped during lockdown! Stay safe 🙏🏼

  3. Hi Janice love your channel. Sorry to ask a negative question but, just out of curiosity have you ever gotten sick from eating at any of these places you go to?

  4. I totally agree about the bbq skewers ,I think they need to put more meat out since it was all you can eat and quality of the sides could have been better ..I loved that you did a Korean bbq at your friends house it looked much more DELICIOUS and I love the different sauce ❤️🥰💖Such a great vlog Janice I could watch your videos all day ..x

  5. I’m a Sydneysider and just started following your channel. Thank you for your honest reviews, been enjoying them! Merry Christmas!!💕🎄

  6. I adore salmon but it's a fish that I don't think BBQs well.
When cooking over coals, a whole snapper or other sweet, white fish is best.

  7. Although you didn't think much of that place you're really spoiled for choice there in Sydney. I'd love the dining options you have to choose from, not that things are too bad here.

  8. Hey Janice… My experience in the food industry might have some insight to why it seemed skimpy pickings for the all you can eat kind of place. Especially when business is slower… they will bring out less from the back room storage (best kept temperature for freshness) to put out in the displays where the food is under lights (most likely warm) just to cut down on spoilage (especially seafood) and exposure… on their end as well as yours. I'm fairly certain that if they want to STAY in business… there was someone on the staff that kept a very close eye on what needed to be restocked. I look at it as a wise business move. Was there anything you wanted to eat that was completely not available? Or just looked in short supply? Or maybe just had to wait for them to replenish their supply? Anyhow, those are my thoughts on some of the things you encountered in this experience that you thought were items of noteworthy-ness. AND… stick with what they advertise or are known for… don't venture too far from that in the all-you-can-eat venue. Such is the life in the all-you-can-eat world. Take the good with the bad. It just falls on you to figure out which is which. Your bro and sis are too funny in the behind scenes… your brother has done this a few times in recent videos… and it's funny-annoying… like a brother would be. I was surprised to see Eunice do it tonight at the restaurant. Siblings… what to do, what to do!!??!! QUESTION: what is the difference between the two ponzu sauces?? I love ponzu!

  9. Am I the only one who realised that Janice Fung's voice was on the Philadelphia Cream advertisement? 😅😅
