Ayano Tsukimi lives in a small village on the island of Shikoku. For more than 10 years, she has been making fabric dolls to compensate for the exodus of inhabitants to big cities.
If one is not completely attentive, one could believe that some inhabitants of Nagoro chatter while waiting for the bus, while others are occupied with the fields, while the children study studiously in the classroom of the village. However, on closer inspection, its inhabitants are not of flesh and bone, but of fabric and newspaper , frozen in an infinitely repetitive daily life.
We owe these life-size dolls to Ayano Tsukimi. This Japanese woman has returned to live alongside her father in the Iya Valley , on the island of Shikoku after several decades spent in Osaka.
If, during his childhood, the valley was prosperous and the villages full, the closure of the dam, the main provider of employment in the valley, pushed many inhabitants to abandon Shikoku for Tokyo, Osaka or Kobe.
Today, only about thirty people still live in Nagoro , a number which tends to decrease from year to year, and even more since the only school in the village closed its doors .
Ayano Tsukimi therefore had the idea of embarking on the design of fabric dolls , just to repopulate his village in his own way. Children, parents, farmers, fishermen… If his preference is to make old people, Ayano Tsukimi gives life to a whole range of dolls, always with the imperative of not making them look too sad or angry. They are today 350 to populate Nagoro, each one representing an inhabitant having left the village or having died .

साथ मूलभूत सुविधाएं खत्म हुई और लोगों का पलायन बढ़ता गया तो लोग छोड़-छाड़ या फिर अन्य सिटीज में शिफ्ट होते गए अयान ने अकेलापन दूर करने के लिए वहां पे डॉल्स बनाना शुरू करा फैब्रिक और पेपर की मदद से उन्होंने बड़े-बड़े डॉल्स बनाए उनको ऐसी कलाकृतियों के रूप में रखा जैसे सेम एकदम
विलेज के लोग रहते हैं कोई सड़कों पे है कोई खेतों में काम कर रहा है या कोई शॉप के सामने बैठ कर के पंचायत लगी हुई है बच्चे स्कूल में पढ़ रहे हैं एकदम डिट्टो वैसे ही कलाकृति उन्होंने बनाई कुछ लोगों के लिए ये जगह काफी क्रीपी दिखती है लेकिन
कुछ लोगों के लिए बड़ा ही इंटरेस्टिंग है तो लोग यहां जाते हैं घूमने के लिए देखने के लिए मतलब एकदम प्रारूप वैसे ही बना रखा है सेम साइज सेम कद काठी और y
