Military Octopus Pot Bento Lunch Box Ekiben
Octopus Pot Bento ‘Hipparidako Meshi’. Hipparidako means very popular or pulling octopus, Meshi is rice. Hipparidako Meshi is specialty of Akashi, Hyogo region. Akashi fishers use Takotsubo(octopus pot) for catching octopus. The bento pot images Takotsubo octopus pot. The base taste of the bento is Japanese style soy sauce flavor. It’s salty and a bit sweet.
This time, Octopus Pot Bento company ‘Awajiya’ collaborate with Japan Self-Defense Forces. They released Military Octopus Pot Bento. The octopus pot is camouflage. I like it. The price is 1480 yen(10 USD).

Such an awesome military octopus bento lunch box. Love the cool camouflage looking pot that the food comes in. And the food looks so delicious and fresh with so many ingredients in one pot. Awesome another Octupus pot bento looks so yummy delicious and tasty. It's really that they have different designs for the octupus bento box makes it fun to collect and reuse. I wonder how many designs we have seen that make me want to find this bento at my local Japanese mall. If I never get a chance to go to the capital city Manila in the Philippines.
