Hey guys this is Mike Chen just landed here in Tokyo want to grab some dinners it’s a little late so a lot of places are closed and just decided to walk around and see what’s open and never been to Denny’s before Denny’s in Japan looks really fancy

Whoa when you walk in there’s like a little convenience store outside with Danny’s baked goods little toys too so you sit down and they bring you an iPad menu which is great because you can see the dishes in English recommendations Chef recommendation course with an alagado later avocado okay strawberry

Caesar salad so first page is all the recommended this just the seasonal menu look at this oh my gosh I can’t believe this is a Denny strawberry pancakes strawberry Sundays a model strawberry this is the king strawberry here in Japan there’s steaks bacon spinach corn soup there’s hurg steak

Seran steak Japanese beef stew chicken pork shabo Shabu wo there’s Fried Chicken basically every type of salad under the sun what there’s chicken jum valaya garlic rice with rose pork cheese Hood rice oh my gosh there’s so much stuff here meat spaghetti there Cod roll pasta grilled cheese oh my gosh they got

Dundun noodles Chinese noodles Denny’s here in Japan has pretty much any dish you want oh this is a drink bar dessert menu this is the strawberry stuff oh there’s pancakes Chocolate Sundaes French toast chilled red bean soup matcha ice cream oh my there’s so much stuff that I want

To try so I got a chef recommendation course and oh man I got to try something else too grilled meat combo I want to try their dunda noodles let’s do garlic rice or rolled pork have got salad raw ham what raw ham salad my dinner tonight a drink bar Chef’s recommendation course

Aado strawberry Caesar salad rye bread garlic Rice with rast pork let’s do it this is really interesting this is the drink bar so once you get a pass you can have as much drinks as you want there’s a coffee ice coffee cappuccino all sorts of different teas sodas Iced

Teas take some W on te this is what a Denny menu looks like here in Japan this thing goes on for 26 pages I don’t remember how big Denny’s menu was back in the US I remember it being pretty extensive but this thing has everything from noodles

My first entry has arrived garlic roast pork fried rice so there’s chunks of what looks like grilled roast pork with garlic chips on top it smells so garlicky that is a tender tender piece of pork the crunchy bits of garlic the rice has a little bit of mayo on it and some

Corn the rice is buttery it’s frag it’s garlicky freaking rice is outrageous it’s fries so well look at this every little grain is just glistening with flavor goes perfect with that tender cut of pork the pork is also very peppery as well so everybody you take get that

Juicy tender pork the creaminess from the mayonnaise The Fragrant rice the crunchy garlic this is a magnificent plate of fried rice from Denny this is really really Smoky very tender two completely different cuts of pork really adds so much different flavor and texture to this fried rice this is freaking amazing

Fried rice guys I’m a fried rice fanatic I’ll eat fried rice every single day if you’ll love me and words I never thought i’ ever say in my life you got to tried this Fri rice at Denny’s I mean Denny’s back home at least for me really only place I go when

Everything else is closed I don’t think I’ve ever had food of this quality like a Denise before I am so happy with the entree 2 has arrived let me get a refill on my Tea I think I might have discovered the best Coke on this planet melon Coke you got to give this a try this is the recommended set menu from Denny’s I love this sit a little bit because I was so distracted by my awesome pork fried

Rice now the pasta is kind of dying on me a little bit which is totally my mistake beautiful crab on top and underneath the crap is pasta with herb cream sauce this is a really hervy and very crabby plate of pasta oh yeah I’m going to taste that fresh basil right away

It’s very rich and creamy with real crab meat on top you can taste in every single bite and that crab is very very sweet they also give you a couple slices of bread with the pasta that’s very toasty bread but this is a delicious and very fancy full of

Pasta and on the menu you can even pair this up with wine or do what I do pair with some melon Coke the dessert that came with the chef recommended SE meal is an avocado and the coffee that it’s sitting in it’s like coffee goo the coffee is very thick

Look at this that’s really interesting and instead of just plain coffee that the ice cream is sitting in I think it’s a mixture of coffee and brown sugar so the texture is very thick and gooey it’s like ice cream cting in coffee ectoplasm I like it it’s bitter as sweet

This is definitely a very very unique aato really unlik anything I’ve had before this was such a fun find I love trying out popular restaurants in different cultures in Denny’s in Japan is very different the menu is the size of a Cheesecake Factory menu I think

Because this place is pretty close to my hotel and it’s open pretty early I’m going to come back and have some breakfast Tomorrow so breakfast Denny’s has a completely different menu and it goes from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. there’s some traditional stuff like pancakes scrambled eggs bacon French toast one thing that looks really interesting shrimp and chicken and eggplant with spinach also because it is strawberry seasoned I got some strawberry pancakes

Too inside there’s eggs there’s scallion mushrooms slices of Chicken shrimp and they give you a little bit of olive oil and wasab to add in here as well I feel like this is less of a porridge and more of a chicken soup with rice I really like this so there’s a lot of

Cool flavors and textures inside there’s eggs in here and when you get a little bit of the yolk there’s a lot of richness and creaminess that comes with that the rice texture is very nice it’s not mushy at all it’s almost Al Dente the mushroom is nice the shrimp is

Popping in sweet chased out with some of this eggplant over spinach which is Juicy and refreshing goes really well with the porridge the Wasabi is definitely a good addition for a little bit of kick and of course unlimited coffee tea and drinks at the drink

Bar in the drink bar when you get it included with a meal which is only about 20 I think 80 or 90 Yen so it’s only about $2 for all you can drink and the porridge without the drink bar it’s only about $690 y so about $4 for this giant steamy bowl of

Deliciousness it’s like a giant really fulfilling satisfying delicious bowl of chicken egg drop soup definitely good the that come with it this whole thing actually pretty healthy and very filling breakfast that olive oil that was a nice fragrant kick all right after this I I got something

Just as fulfilling a little less healthy coming up pink it’s beautiful fresh strawberries because strawberri SE in Japan from December to May these are their specialty Japanese strawberries called the king strawberries and typically when you get fruit at a place like Denny I would expect it not to be

Together every single bite it’s sweet it’s tart it’s creamy it’s juicy I don’t like pancakes I really order them but these freshly made pancakes with the freshest strawberries you can find anywhere and ice cream and this loaded plate of pancakes again with the fresh strawberries only about $5 it’s my

Been going to and I really don’t have a lot of ideas for dinner tonight let’s go try that dunda noodle at Denny’s so my new hotel is here and Denny’s is right here it’s like it’s meant to Be so I didn’t know apparently Denny’s has a lunch menu as well I thought the lunch and dinner menu would just be the same menu so I got a neat miso Bowl I see them selling their bolon sauce so I’m thinking that might be pretty good

So I got their their spaghetti with meat sauce and finally of course the dund noodles I’ve been wanted to try I might have over ordered here cuz in the pictures the MEO meatball didn’t look this big so this meal say you get a meatball and a Ramen can you believe

This combo 900 Yen for two bowls of food this is absolutely mindblowing how much you get the value for money here at Denny which I don’t think I’ve ever said before give you a little perp milk and some pepper so the Miso meat Bowl scallion on top looks

Like eggplant onions and minced meat on the bottom this is a lot of food I thought for the price and from the pictures it just be like a little tiny bowl of rice and meat this is absolutely ginormous and there was an option at the endet to make your rice bigger how much

More rice can they put in here it’s really peppercorny it’s spicy I do feel like there’s too much rice in here the racial is definitely a little off but the flavor is fantastic the sauce and the meat very Savory very rich to flavor it’s got a

Ton of Mami in there you can 100% taste all that delicious miso minced meat is delicious like the refreshing crunch of the scallions the egpl is a nice touch I mean it’s delicious I just think there’s too much rice in here I’m Chase it with my favorite Denny’s drink melon Coke

Look at this Ramen looks like a showyou Ramen with a piece of chashu some spinach little bit of wavy noodles the broth looks pretty good all right the broth is not great it’s kind of blend and the noodles are a little soggy I mean it tastes a show you but super

Onedimensional broth and the chashu is super tough and dry I was wondering if I should get a giant bow Ramen here glad I didn’t that was was not good at all jny sells their bowet sauce by the register so this must be good then right smells good this bowl pasta about

450 okay I really like this and I’ll tell you why this tastes almost exactly like the span me sauce you used to get in high school cafeterias of course the pasta here is way more Al Dente whereas the lunchroom pasta just kind of melts like a marshmallow the me sauce tastes just

Definitely worth it for me I like this so much this is UN CNY how much they taste like if you know what I’m talking about and you also love the lunchroom spaghetti and me sauce and if you are ever in Japan and want to relive that flavor go to your local

Heat there’s some spinach in here some minced meat and it tastes okay it’s definitely extremely peanutty but to make it done you really need a good amount of numbness good amount of peppercorn that this doesn’t really have I mean they give you a black pepper shaker which is not the same thing it’s

A little spicy I think it’s definitely missing a a lot of flavor a lot of depth right now it’s just super one dimensional it just tastes like slightly spicy peanuty noodles I mean it’s not inedible but it’s not good I think the best thing I had tonight the Miso meat

Over rice and the high school pasta but every dish that you do get you’re definitely getting a lot of food for the money all right I’m going to finish up before all my noodles get soy and I’m back at the hotel in under 5 minutes it’s so convenient so Denny’s in Japan

Nothing like the Denny’s back home from the food to the price point to the quality of ingredients it’s like a whole new restaurant that I wish could replace Denise from back home flavors aside all the ingredients from the veg to the fruits everything fresh as can be they

To Denis but if you are traveling here and you’re looking for a pretty decent meal at a really good price point good at Denny’s it might not always taste the best but it’ll definitely fill you up maybe they should use that as their slogan Foods I recommend garlic pork
