    In the beginning it reminded me very much of Schildergasse in Cologne. The width of the roads, the height of the buildings and the lighting signs (although we only have Roman letters). But since it's Japan everything's way calmer than Cologne at nighttime. I'm somewhat envious about this. 💖👍

    "Mysterious"??? Just a bunch of people walking around. Nothing mysterious about it. Either I don't understand what you consider mysterious or you just have to lie to get people to watch your videos. Which is it?

    I lived there for 11 years and the basic rules are simple: Never follow a tout (male or female) to a bar. If you don't know the area, only go into bars that are on the ground floor & facing the street. If you are with a friend who knows which bars to go to then any floor is fine. If you think you are in a sketchy situation discretely pull out your phone & hit the record or video record and ask what the prices are. If you don't speak enough Japanese to ask that or the employee protests against you doing any recording then you shouldn't be there. Other than that you'll never have to worry about having trouble while walking, even in dark alleys. So what you perceived as sketchy was probably just home grown paranoia.
