We walked under many ‘torii’ gates that represent the boundaries between the spiritual world and the mundane world where humans live and spent at least a couple of hours making our way around the traditional Japanese Gardens at Nanzoin. I adored the mischievous looking statues wearing knitted hats, they really are magical!
