We enjoyed our first conveyor belt sushi experience at Magurobito Akihabara located inside Yodobashi Akihabara on the 8th floor. It’s part of a larger food court called YY Gourmet and if you’re looking for somewhere to eat while you’re shopping in Yodobashi or in Akihabara electronics district in general, the 8th floor is where you want to go. We really enjoyed Magurobito Akihabara and we enjoyed the gyukatsu at Katsugyu. Gyukatsu is fried wagyu beef with lots fo yummy sauces. How can you go wrong?
Then walk it all off at Shibuya crossing and check out the famous Hachiko statue. You’ll see lots of nods to the famous dog Hachiko, the dog who waited for his owner.
We wish we could find the name of the awesome place that we got seafood skewers at but everything is in Japanese. It’s right outside the Ningyocho station if you want to go on a treasure hunt.
