Osaka Castle stands as a historical landmark in Osaka originally commissioned by toyotomi hiid Yoshi it played a pivotal role in the unification of Japan in the 16th century situated at the highest point in the area the name oaka meaning big slope reflecting its location at the tip of the uari plateau
