Welcome to the vibrant city of Yokohama, Japan, a captivating destination that never fails to mesmerize visitors from around the world. In this travel vlog, I’ll take you on the journey exploring this port city in Japan.
The adventure begins at the Minato Mirai district. This waterfront area is a playground for entertainment, shopping, and dining. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere as you stroll along the promenade, surrounded by skyscrapers, beautiful parks, and the iconic Ferris wheel.
I stop by Yamashita Park and visit the Rose Garden of the Future where we can see as well the Gundam Factory.
From there, I stroll to Yokohama Chinatown, the largest Chinatown in Japan. It’s a plethora of delicious street food, vibrant markets, and beautifully decorated temples. The blend of Chinese and Japanese cultures creates a unique atmosphere that you won’t find anywhere else.
Next up, For a taste of Japan’s maritime history, I take you to the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse area & Marine & walk. Originally used as customhouses over a century ago, these elegant red-brick buildings now house trendy shops, cafes, and galleries. It’s the perfect place to relax and capture the essence of Yokohama’s past.
Before I bid you farewell to this enchanting city, I show the Yokohama Air Cabin Ride and the captivating Yokohama Landmark Tower. Soaring high into the sky, this impressive structure offers panoramic views (for a price) of the city from its observation deck. You also can find the official Yokohama Studio Ghibli store inside the building on the fourth floor.
