  2. When I'm in Japan. I always buy the full sized JR timetable and learn the Kanji for each station as we roll along. The best train trip in my life was the "stove train", from Goshogawara to Kanagi. The conductress gals on the that train were all in, and the conductor kept stuffing coal in the stoves. The shijimi ramen in the upstairs of Kanagi station is fantastic!

  3. How exciting to be on the test run event, congratulations to you, and to ngasaki for finally getting their bullet train. I miss Japan 🙏🙇‍♀️

  4. Castella Fukusaya. One of my favourite treats whenever I'm in Japan. I've tried other brands, but I'm yet to find one anywhere near as good. That said, they've been making it for several hundred years now.

  5. Man I'm so jelous of japanese high speed rail. The US has such a limited amount of fast trains and where I live there are none. I would love to experience going on one in Japan at some point in my life.

  6. Bullet trains in Hihon are like smartphones – always newer and newer. Shinkansen ga daisuki desu! 💓💗💕💖💝

  7. Kuga's videos, especially this gives you a insight into the historical and traditional aspects of Japanese culture. The Modern and contemporary facets of Japan are well illustrated. Wonderful how the SHINKANSEN is revolved around contemporary Japan.

  8. That is a nice new train but I was surprised by just how loud it was on the inside, except for in the bathrooms. Was the engine actually loud on board or was it the video?

  9. Why use an airplane to travel the world when you can travel via YouTube 😊😊😊 you can’t beat the price of the ticket

  10. We the good news is that Japan will finally give the U.S bullet trains which will be in Texas, it's all thanks to our allie Japan.

  11. You mentioned the old Dutch East India trading post in Nagasaki on the man-made island of Dejima situated in the Bay. Prize-winning novel by UK author David Mitchell set in part on Dejima at the turn of the 19th century, titled "The Thousand Autumns of Jakob de Zoet".

  12. Great video. The trains look fantastic but I have to say that the ride seems quite bumpy and the interior creaks. As Hitachi has won a joint contract to supply trains for HS2 in Britain I hope they will revise the suspension design. Siemens high speed trains on Eurostar for example do not jerk and creak in this way.

  13. I just love how much effort you put into your videos! And as a german person to see that japan also has such a big train culture. When I was a little child I had a model train and always went to train stations just to watch the trains .3.

  14. Hi, In my recent trip (Nov 23) to Japan I was able catch this Kamome along with 787 Kamome Relay, even after a year it looks brand new. The station are is now open with Amuplaza mall and new Marriott hotel will open in spring 2024.
