I took my first international trip this year, and finally made it to Japan! The first part was spent exploring Tokyo. I started off by exploring Tokyo Station, including the Pokemon Store and some gashapon machines. From there I went to Akihabara, where I browsed for Pokemon and Digimon merch, and BIC Camera, where I bought approximately 6 bags of KitKats. The next day started off at Yoyogi Park and Meiji Jingu Shrine, which is the first Shinto shrine I’ve been to. From there I wandered to Harajuku until Shibuya Parco opened. My first stop at Shibuya Parco was Pokemon Center Shibuya, then I checked out the Nintendo Store, Shibuya Parco’s roof top, and the basement. From Shibuya I went to Ikebukuro’s Sunshine City Mall, where I visited the Pikachu Sweets Cafe, Gashapon Department Store, and the view from the top of the skyscraper (where I was fortunate enough to see Mount Fuji).
