Egg nog is about the same as ice cream/frozen custard base, so it’s kinda like drinking melted ice cream w/ nutmeg. Most add whiskey or rum to make it boozy. You can actually just put store bought egg nog in an ice cream maker to make egg nog ice cream.

I like the fact that they use some german words on the xmas market stands and it sounds a bit funny 😊 Like If there would be a "Kawasaki Supermarket" or "Honda Barber Shop" in 🇩🇪 But i'm sure they doing their best to make it look and sound german on the market 😁👍😎

I am enjoying these travel videos so much! It is fascinating for me to “walk” and explore what these places offer. I have never traveled anywhere outside of my country so I really appreciate visiting these places with Rion and it feels like I am there!

you tried 腸粉 (cheong fun) that is definitely cantonese dim sum. But I am not a fan of beef tripe (牛什) like you are.
I'm always astonished how crowded the japanese christmas markets (and festivals) are, especially the long lines in front of the booths 😅

Thanks for another trip to Yokohama. I regret that I failed to visit this place during my recent Japan trip due to sudden change to our schedule. Hopefully, I can visit this beautiful place when I come back to Japan.

I've been to the Chinatowns in Nagasaki, Kobe, and Yokohama. I think the Nagasaki one was my favorite and the lantern festival is an added bonus. The Yokohama and Kobe ones were kind of small from what I remember.
