In this video we went to the wealthy District 7 (Phú Mỹ Hưng) part of Saigon and immersed ourselves into the things it has to offer! We started off with strolling through the posh area full of massive villas, through the beautiful park and had an amazing meal at the Train Restaurant 🚂 This District is also known for Korean and Taiwanese people living there so we haven’t missed the opportunity to buy our favourite snackiesss 😍🇰🇷🇹🇼 #wealthy #Saigon #Vietnam

  2. This place is old now they have vinhome Central Park, grand park, sala ,goldern river or thao dien,… just checking out

  3. if you're a tourist & u travel to Hồ Chí Minh city, only go to District 1, 2, 3 and the rich areas in district 7 because these are the only clean, well maintained districts. Elsewhere is just full of air pollution, noise pollution, trash everywhere, dirty sidewalks combined with the unbearable heat. Honestly, if you're still in Vietnam traveling, go to the popular tourist spots like Hạ Long Bay, Ninh Bình, Hội An, Đà Nẵng, etc or go visit the rural, countryside areas of Việt Nam if u wanna experience beautiful, jawdropping natural landscapes & actually have some fresh air to breath in. Hồ Chí Minh city has very poor urban planning, only worth visiting if you personally enjoy all the chaos & the unhygienic conditions that remind u of an apocalyptic city setting

  4. The coffee shop with the dinosaur is kid-coffee. Basically it's a indoor playground with free babysisters, 3 stories full of toys, obstacles, slides… You just let your kids run loose and enjoy your drink in peace 🙂 They also have foods.

  5. Là một người Việt Nam,hy vọng bạn sẽ làm clip riêng về ưu ..nhược điểm tại Việt Nam,chào mừng bạn❤❤❤

  6. Actually Vietnam has hundreds of rich neighborhoods like that or even much better than what you showed, throughout the country. Try to type in “Khu do Thi moi” & you’ll see.

  8. Actually Vietnam has hundreds of rich neighborhoods like what you showed or even much nicer / better. In order to search for them, type in “Khu do Thi moi”. Here is something else top of the line “Lau dai o Vietnam “

  10. Nice video as usual thanks for it. At 4:23 it's a Mercedes Maybach Edition, it's price is about 300 000 US dollars.

  11. Phu My Hung was one of the first if not the first major urban redevelopment in Vietnam that had proper modern urban pla ning principles applied in its creation. Its a lesson which demonstrate that good Western modern urban planning design principles together with unrivalled Centralise power can really work together very well in the creation of new desireable urban area and rejuvenate a city. A lesson that have been seemingly forgotten in Vietnam and somehow ignored in the West.

  12. If the government is what it said it was the Vietnamese should be my priority in any economic development not to catering to some rich foreigners whose countries had a not too distant hostile past toward Vietnam. The Vietnamese communist party was plagued with corrupted, heartless, soul-less party cadres who joined the party just for the purposes of being full-fledged certified corruptors with a license issued by the party. If the anti-corruption campaign which is currently being advertised by the party chief had any merit then the firing squads going to work day and night for an extended years because jails running out of space. True Vietnamese is still living in the squander conditions, like holes in the ground and Koreans and Taiwanese are building their paradise on the land of Vietnam where generations have fought and die, even against these so-call Vietnam lovers. Sad!

  13. Those big homes belong to corrupt officials and crooked commies government employees. By filming there, you are exposing their ill gotten gains and their corrupted lifestyle

  14. Those trees are not spray painted. That is the natural color. My neighbor has one big tree of the same species in front of his house. Malaysia.

  15. I agree with carolina that KFC is not better, delicious than vietnamese food. Your video is very good and brilliant

  16. Do you know why the security guard didn't want you to film in PMH ? It's because the wealthy residents there don't want any stranger to sneak in their privacy . It's like in the US or Canada , there is a lot of upper class residential districts where no strangers are allowed to come inside without previous invitation . There are security guards everywhere . I have myself four first cousins and second cousins living in PMH . One of them owns one of the hugest villas there . From outside it looks like a French mansion but so far I am never been invited to her home even we are first cousin . Once a while we meet each other at some fancy restaurants in D1 but never at her place . Another one owns a smaller house (but still quite big and nice ) and a boutique hotel which customers are mainly Korean visitors . The two other ones are professionals and businessman . They all tell me they don't want to be disturbed by strangers for security reasons .

  17. In Vietnam, it is the most free and comfortable country, but in foreign countries, if you pick up your phone to film sensitive areas, you will be immediately punished. The government still allows people to freely live freely, but if you say something wrong abroad, you will be prosecuted in court, not like in Vietnam you can say whatever you want.

  18. Phu My Hung is 750 hectares, mid-rise urban, there's another urban like this highrises Vinhome Grand Park with 271 hectares in Thu Duc district currently underconstruction, roughly 60% is done, you can come and see the grandeur of this new area now or come back in 3yrs to see the complete city.
They say the riches and super riches live in Phu My Hung, but the really wealthies and top elites live in district 2.
Phu My Hung has the advantage of urban planning but the disadvantage is zoning. You are expected to build according to the zoning law. District 2 has no urban planning people build as they wishes, so they built grand mansions and palaces on great masses of land tucked behind tall gates, with private securities, so we see nothing much, but Phu My Hung is all out and about with neigbourhood securities in all pockets of town.

  19. There are 2 Korean Towns in Saigon, the old Korean Town was in Tan Binh district, Koreans moved in all the new houses built on empty lands around the airport area back in the 1990s, today you can see some Korean businesses in Tan Binh district . Eventually Phu My Hung was the earliest to build and take shape so Koreans all moved here. Now each district has this new urban complexes built adjacent to the current local areas, each of these project ranging from couple dozen to hundred of hectares, they are built on old industrial, cemeteries, landfills, farm lands etc …..eg: District 2 also has lots of Koreans, but they use that as residential areas not much businesses.

  20. I first went to Phu My Hưng in 2000 and there were only two low rise condos built ,the rest of the area was empty swamp land .
They were just starting out and as I remember as nice as the condo was I remember thinking no way people would buy here it’s swamp land .
Looking at the area today how wrong was I ? It probably would have been a good investment .
Yes walking around on the uneven sidewalks you are reminded that it isn’t exactly built on solid ground but the buildings are high quality.
That whole area is basically owned by a private company with private security and yes they probably have restrictions there that you would not find elsewhere in Saigon on public land .
People do love to live there for the peaceful lifestyle and it is the safest area of the city with all of the streets under 24/7 private security.
Bag and phone snatchers there usually get caught by the first rate security unlike the rest of the city .
This is a master planned community that has won awards from all around the world and the Taiwanese owner Lawrence Ting was a true visionary and had major guts to invest in swamp land .
Sadly he took a flying leap off a 15 floor building in Taiwan in 2004 in an effort to save face because he was accused of corruption .
He never got to see how great his development would become .

  21. Ohh yes 😃the Lotte Bitter Choco Koala 🐨Biscuits are my fav too.. Cant stop buying after tastin them recently in Taiwan~

  22. When you come the philippines . you can visit BGC in taguig its the most modern city in the philippines ..Makati , the financial business district for great skyscraper and Eastwood City , its got San Franscusco vibe and Mckinly hill for ItaLian vibe

  23. Di Vietnam banyak dibangun proyek yg modern tapi sangat disayang kan peminat nya masih kurang, sehingga sepi tidak seimbang dgn peminat disana

  24. Why there Korean peoples living in the district 7 in Vietnam. Is for Korean busines companies that open their business in Vietnam. Vietnamese make a conforable place for these CEO Korean business owner to live and run their companies in Vietnam. Also for many other CEO foriegn business owner from other countries who open their company in Vietnam so they can feel at home while running their companies in Vietnam.
